The Swarmchestrate project aims to combine emerging technologies in the domains of Swarm computing, distributed AI, distributed ledger systems and decentralized identity management to create a completely decentralized autonomous and self-organized application management system which supports the processing of large amounts of data generated at the network edges with the help of hyper-distributed and complex applications in the Cloud-to-Edge continuum.
Swarmchestrate is co-funded by the European Union under grant agreement No 101135012 and it officially started in January 2024. The DVL unit with FBK is leading the effort of developing AI-based solutions for swarm formation and runtime management within the context of edge-cloud continuum.
